I submitted my product — what happens next?
The single most common misunderstanding on Uneed: once you've submitted, nothing happens automatically. Submitting doesn't schedule your product, and we don't email you a launch date. Nothing is scheduled until you go to your dashboard and choose how you want to launch.
If you're waiting for us to get in touch, you'll wait a long time.
The actual sequence
1. You submit. The form takes about a minute. No account needed to start — we scrape your page first, then ask you to sign up so your submission is saved.
2. We review it. Every free submission goes through moderation. Paid launches — both Fast-track ($14.99) and Skip the Waiting Line ($29.99) — are never declined. If your product isn't accepted, you'll get an email explaining why — and you can appeal it.
3. You choose how to launch. From your dashboard, on your product's page. On the free path you join the waiting line and the next available free slot is assigned to you automatically. This is the step people miss.
4. You launch. Your page goes live at 12:00 AM PST on your launch date.
Choosing a date
How your date is decided depends on how you're launching:
- Free queue — you join the waiting line from your dashboard, and the system assigns you the next available free slot. You don't hand-pick the date. Only 30 free launches are published per day, so these are booked far ahead: as of August 2026, the first free dates are in February 2027.
- Fast-track ($14.99) — an automatic slot around two weeks out, also assigned for you.
- Skip the Waiting Line ($29.99) — the only option where you pick any available date yourself.
For B2B and productivity products, Tuesday to Thursday tends to perform best. More on that in When to launch your product.
Things that look like problems but aren't
uneed.best/tool/your-slug returns a 404. Normal. Product pages only exist after launch.
"This product is already in the waiting line." Usually means an unrelated product already took that slug. Nothing is stuck on your account — just tweak the slug and resubmit. Details in Remove a product or delete your account.
Your product isn't under "Your products". You're probably logged into a different account than the one that submitted it. See Account access and product transfers.
Can you just list my product for me?
We can't. There's no manual path on our side — everything goes through the submission form, for everyone. It genuinely takes about a minute.
Is a scheduled date a guarantee?
Not on the free queue. Having a date booked doesn't skip moderation: a free submission can still be declined before launch day. Both paid options are the exception — Fast-track and Skip the Waiting Line launches are guaranteed to publish.
While you wait
Use the time. Edit your listing as often as you like — it's free — and read How to maximize your launch success before the day arrives.
