Remove a product or delete your account

Both are handled manually by us, and both are quick. There's no self-serve delete button on either.

Removing a product listing

Email us with the URL of the page you want removed — something like uneed.best/tool/your-product. That's all we need. As soon as we have it, we delete the listing.

No further documentation is required on your side. We don't ask for proof of ownership, company registration, or a signed request. If you're asking us to take something down rather than put something up, we take you at your word.

Common reasons people ask:

  • The product was shut down or acquired
  • A former employee or contractor submitted it and you'd rather it wasn't there
  • You launched too early and want to relaunch properly later
  • Duplicate listing

"This product is already in the waiting line"

This error usually doesn't mean what people think. In most cases an unrelated product already took that slug — nothing was created on your account, and nothing is stuck.

The fix is to tweak your slug: voltpilotvoltpilot-app, or add your company name. If you're convinced the conflicting entry is genuinely yours from an old account, email us and we'll delete the old one so you can resubmit cleanly.

Related: a /tool/<slug> URL returning a 404 before your launch date is normal. Product pages only exist once the product has launched.

Deleting your account

Email us and ask. We delete the account and its associated data manually.

If you also want your product listings gone, say so in the same email — deleting an account doesn't automatically remove products that have already launched, since those pages are part of the public archive.

What happens to your data

Once deleted, the account and its data are gone from our systems. Payment and invoicing records are held by our payment provider, Creem, under their own retention rules — for anything on that side, contact support@creem.io.
