What we accept (and what we don't)
We want Uneed to be a place where people discover genuinely useful and interesting products. To keep the quality high, we review every submission and sometimes decline products that don't meet our standards.
What we're looking for
We accept products that are original, functional, and bring real value to users. This includes SaaS tools, developer tools, AI products with a clear use case, mobile apps, browser extensions, hardware products, marketplaces, and more.
Your product doesn't have to be perfect or fully polished — we love early-stage products from indie makers. But it should be something you've put real effort into.
What we don't accept
We decline submissions that fall into these categories:
- Generic AI wrappers — Products that are just a thin layer on top of ChatGPT or another LLM with no meaningful added value
- Low-effort tools — Basic converters, generators, or calculators that took minutes to build and add nothing new
- Copycat products — Clones of existing tools with no real differentiation
- Spam or placeholder products — Products that aren't functional or are clearly just trying to get a backlink
- Products that violate our terms — Anything illegal, harmful, or misleading
What happens if my product is declined?
If your product is declined, you'll be notified. You're welcome to resubmit after making improvements. If you think the decision was a mistake, reach out to us at contact@uneed.best and we'll take another look.
Why we do this
We could accept everything and make more money. But the value of Uneed — for users and for the makers who launch here — depends on the quality of what's listed. A dofollow backlink from Uneed is worth something because we maintain standards (our domain rating is in the 70s). Keeping the bar high benefits everyone.
